About Svensson Support Services
My Story
I am 27 years old and I live with my wife and greyhound. I enjoy walking my dog to the park, meditation, playing basketball, chess, playing my guitar, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles and watching AFL.
After school, I went to uni and became a personal trainer. I value the growth and experience that came from it but in the end in wasn't for me. When I started working as a support worker, I loved it right away. I believe my relationship with my brother with autism and Down syndrome was a big reason why. I strive to provide a fun environment for my clients, as well helping them to build their capacity for independent living.
My purpose in my work and in life is to help those less privileged than me live better lives
Services Offered
- Community participation - Support to get out, do a fun activity, exercise, or go to an event
- In home care - Help with household chores, yard maintenance, and daily living
- Personal care and hygiene - Toileting, showering and meal time assistance
- Transport - To and from an activity, event, or appointment
- Mental health support - anxiety, depression and schizophrenia
- Personal training - 1 on 1 exercise instruction
